IRVING, Texas (January 1, 2024) – The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly honors for men's basketball Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week on Monday. Jayden Reid and Chris Youngblood represented the University of South Florida men's basketball team, Reid was named the Freshman of the Week and Youngblood was tabbed to the Honor Roll.
Jayden Reid posted a 13-point performance. He chipped in with four assists and one rebound. He knocked down a 3-pointer and took part in USF's record-tying performance as the team made 14 combined 3-pointers.
